Al Jefferson scored 39 points and Randy Foye hit the go-ahead basket in overtime Sunday, leading the Minnesota Timberwolves over the Chicago Bulls 109-108.
Jefferson hit two baskets late in regulation, which ended with the teams deadlocked 97-97. Foye made the shot that proved to be the game-winner with just over 40 seconds left in the extra period.
Kevin Love scored 14 of his 19 points in the fourth quarter and overtime and pulled down 15 rebounds for Minnesota. Rodney Carney added 13 points.
Ben Gordon topped the Bulls’ scoring with 23 points. Luol Deng added 22 points and Joakim Noah had 14 points and 10 rebounds for Chicago, which has lost five straight games.
