NHL: Pittsburgh 6, N.Y. Rangers 2

Kris Letang produced two of Pittsburgh's five third-period goals Wednesday, allowing the Penguins to run away with a 6-2 win over the New York Rangers.
Petr Sykora tied the game at 1-1 in the first period and then scored one of the third-period goals in helping the Penguins win for the third time in four games.
Sidney Crosby, who missed last weekend's All-Star game with a sore left knee, finished off the scoring with 1:40 to play.
Marc-Andre Fleury made 32 saves to earn his 16th win of the season.
New York lost for only the second time in seven games. The Rangers battled the Penguins on even terms through two periods, but then gave up three goals over the opening half of the final period.
Henrik Lundqvist allowed all six goals on 33 shots.
Crosby added three assists for his fourth four-point game of the season. Letang scored more than one goal in a game for the first time in his three-year career.
