Ty Lawson led five players in double figures with 25 points Wednesday and No. 3 North Carolina put on a second-half charge to defeat fifth-ranked Duke 101-87.
North Carolina's two seniors -- Tyler Hansbrough and Danny Green -- won for the fourth time in four games at Duke's Cameron Indoor Stadium. They became the first North Carolina players to do that in 24 years and only the third class from any school to accomplish the feat.
Wake Forest's Tim Duncan and Rusty LaRue won four straight at Duke from 1994-97.
Hansbrough scored 17 points and Green had 15, helping the Tar Heels outscore Duke in the second half 57-35. North Carolina (22-2, 8-2 ACC) has won eight straight league games after opening the conference season with two setbacks.
The Tar Heels lead the ACC by a game over Duke and 1 1/2 games over Clemson, Florida State and Virginia Tech.
Duke (20-4, 7-3) was led by Kyle Singler with 22 points. The Blue Devils made only 2-of-15 shots from 3-point range in the second half.
The Blue Devils lost at home for the first time this season. Their rematch with the Tar Heels will come in Chapel Hill on March 8.
