NHL: Nashville 4, St. Louis 3 (SO)
Jason Arnott tied the game with 3 seconds left in regulation Thursday and Steve Sullivan scored in the shootout, giving Nashville a 4-3 win over St. Louis.
With an extra attacker on the ice and Nashville swarming around the net, Arnott put a backhander past Chris Mason to complete a two-goal, third-period rally.
Sullivan then scored in the second round and Pekka Rinne was perfect in the shootout after making 24 saves in regulation and overtime.
The Predators ended a two-game skid and defeated the Blues for the first time in four tries this season.
St. Louis took a 3-1 lead into the third period, but Kevin Klein brought Nashville within a goal 7:55 into the stanza.
