Blake Griffin had 40 points and 23 rebounds Saturday to lead second-ranked Oklahoma to a 95-74 victory over Texas Tech.

Cade Davis made 5-of-9 3-point attempts and had 17 points for Oklahoma (25-1, 11-0 Big 12), which matched the school’s best conference start since 1985, when it went 11-0 as a member of the Big Eight.

Griffin’s double-double was his 22nd of the season, which leads the nation and gives him Oklahoma’s all-time record for most in a single season.

Willie Warren had 15 points and five assists for the Sooners, who have won 13 in a row overall and remained perfect at home (15-0).

Nick Okorie had 24 points to lead Texas Tech (12-13, 2-8), which has lost six of its last seven games. Mike Singletary had 16 points for the Red Raiders.
