Antawn Jamison had 29 points and 11 rebounds Tuesday, helping the Washington Wizards to a 111-103 win over the Minnesota Timberwolves,
Mike James added 15 points for the Wizards, which included two 3-pointers inside the final 1 1/2 minutes. Washington blew a 19-point lead it had in the second quarter, but managed to post just its third victory in its last 13 games against a poor team that has lost its best player — Al Jefferson — for the season.
Caron Butler had 17 points and six assists for Washington, which had six players reach double-figure scoring.
Randy Foye had 23 points to lead Minnesota, which has lost five in a row. Kevin Love added 17 points and 11 rebounds, and Mike Miller 18 points, eight rebounds and six assists for the Timberwolves.
