NBA: LA Lakers 129, Golden State 121
Kobe Bryant scored 30 points Wednesday and the Los Angeles Lakers closed the game with a rush to defeat Golden State 129-121.
The Warriors moved into a 111-111 tie when Stephen Jackson hit a jump shot with 3:37 to play. Los Angeles then went on an 11-1 tear, finished off by a Bryant fadeaway jumper with 1:12 to play.
Los Angeles, losers of only 10 games all season, improved its record against Western Conference opponents to 27-4.
Pau Gasol added 24 points and Lamar Odom had 22. Los Angeles made 50 percent of its shots from the field, including 9-of-21 from 3-point range.
Golden State, which had won its previous three games, was led by 24 points from both Stephen Jackson and Corey Maggette.
Bryant was coming off his lowest point total of the year. He scored just 10 Tuesday in a victory over Atlanta.
