NBA: Miami 97, Philadelphia 91
Dwyane Wade scored 10 of his 25 points in the fourth period Saturday, helping the Miami Heat record a 97-91 victory against the Philadelphia 76ers.
Wade’s driving layup gave Miami a 92-87 lead with 1:00 left. He had connected on a pair of free throws to put Miami in front for good at 88-87 with 2:01 left.
In an all-around effort, Wade also had nine assists and three blocked shots.
Jermaine O’Neal, in his second game since Miami got him from Toronto this week, scored 17 points with 10 rebounds. Udonis Haslem had 13 points and 10 rebounds, while Jamario Moon added 12 points for the Heat, who have split their last six games.
Despite a right calf strain, Andre Miller led Philadelphia with 30 points and nine rebounds. Reserve Lou Williams scored 22 points.
Andre Iguodala had 14 points, four rebounds and eight assists, while Marreese Speights added 12 points in the 76ers’ third loss in a row.
