NBA: Portland 95, Minnesota 93

Brandon Roy had 31 points and six assists Saturday night to lead the Portland Trail Blazers to a 95-93 win over Minnesota.

LaMarcus Aldridge finished with 15 points and 11 rebounds and Travis Outlaw had 14 points and nine rebounds for the Trail Blazers, who won for the fourth time in five games and improved their home record this season to 26-5.

Ryan Gomes had 28 points, Randy Foye scored 23, and Sebastian Telfair had 18 points and seven assists for the Timberwolves, who have lost nine straight.

The T'Wolves tied the game at 77-77 early in the fourth period but Portland took off on an 11-2 run -- with Roy scoring six points during that span -- to jump back out in front. Minnesota responded with a 7-0 run to get within 90-88, and then made it 94-93 when Gomes nailed a 3-pointer with 10.6 seconds left.

After Roy went 1-for-2 from the free throw line, Foye missed a potential game winner from beyond the arc as time expired.
