Utah beats San Diego State for MWC title

Luke Nevill had 18 points and 15 rebounds Saturday to lead Utah to a 52-50 win over San Diego State and the Mountain West championship.
Lawrence Borha added 12 points for the Utes (24-9), who not only gained an automatic bid to the NCAA Tournament, but also won the MWC tourney for the second time.
Ryan Amoroso had 11 points and 15 rebounds for the losing Aztecs (23-9).
