NBA: Atlanta 98, Portland 80

The Atlanta Hawks, led by Joe Johnson's 35 points, won their fifth straight game Sunday, ripping the Portland Trail Blazers 98-80.

The Hawks took control of the contest late in the third quarter and coasted to the win.

Josh Smith contributed 19 points, Mike Bibby had 15 and Al Horford 13 for Atlanta.

Brandon Roy tallied 29 points and added five assists, and LaMarcus Aldridge scored 19 points for Portland, which had won six of its previous eight games.
