NBA: San Antonio 126, Indiana 121

Manu Ginobili made two foul shots with 9 seconds left Friday, ending an Indiana rally and giving San Antonio a 126-121 win over the Pacers.


Tony Parker led the way with 31 points and 10 assists, helping the Spurs stay atop the Southwest Division. San Antonio went into the evening with a half game lead over Houston and a one-game advantage over New Orleans in the division race.


Tim Duncan added 22 points and 11 rebounds for the Spurs. Michael Finley had 18 points and Ginobili 16.


San Antonio began the fourth quarter with a 12-point advantage, but Indiana made a game of it by scoring 40 points in the period and briefly taking the lead. Parker’s 3-pointer with 1:42 to play put San Antonio back in front for good.


Danny Granger scored 35 points to lead Indiana. Jarrett Jack had 22 points and Troy Murphy 19.


The Pacers fell four games behind Chicago for the final playoff position in the Eastern Conference.
