Andre Ethier hit two home runs Monday to lead the Los Angeles Dodgers in an 11-1 rout of the San Francisco Giants.
Ethier had a total of four RBI, and one of his homers came in a six-run fourth inning that included two-run singles by Russell Martin and Rafael Furcal.
Orlando Hudson was the first Dodger in 39 years to hit for the cycle. He had an infield single in the first inning, a solo homer in the third, an RBI double in the fourth and a lead-off triple in the sixth. The last Dodger to hit for the cycle was Wes Parker in 1970.
Chad Billingsley (2-0) had 11 strikeouts, giving up five hits and a run with no walks in seven innings for LA.
Losing pitcher Randy Johnson (0-2) gave up seven runs on eight hits in 3 2/3 innings.
