Jerry Kelly closed with a 1-under-par Sunday and won the Zurich Classic of New Orleans — his long-awaited third victory on the PGA Tour.

Kelly, who had been winless in his previous 200 events, finished at 14-under-par 274, a stroke ahead of Rory Sabbatini (67), Charles Howell III (68) and Charlie Wi (68).

David Toms (68), winner of the event in 2001, shared fifth place at 12-under 276 with Steve Marino (70).

Kelly won $1.13 million.
