Edgar Renteria had two hits and scored two runs for the Giants, who have won six of their last seven games.
Starter Barry Zito gave up three runs on five hits in 6 1/3 innings. Merkin Valdez (1-0) got the win, giving up one run on two hits in 1 2/3 innings of relief.
Casey Blake hit a two-run homer and Manny Ramirez had two hits and one RBI for the Dodgers, who have lost two straight after winning three in a row.
LA starter Randy Wolf yielded three runs on six hits with four strikeouts over six innings.
