Kyle Busch held off Carl Edwards in two late-race restarts Friday to capture the NASCAR Nationwide Lipton Tea 250 at Richmond (Va.) International Raceway.
The victory, Busch's third in the series this year, came on the eve of his 24th birthday.
Busch has won 24 Nationwide races, tying him for fifth on the all-time victory list.
Edwards passed Busch for the lead on lap 158 and the two battled the rest of the way. After a caution, the race resumed on lap 228 and Busch sped past Edwards to take the lead for good.
