Mike Magee scored the game's third stoppage time goal Wednesday, lifting Los Angeles to a wild 2-2 tie with Real Salt Lake.
Salt Lake appeared headed for a 1-0 victory that would have given it a 4-0-0 home record, but in the 91st minute a penalty was called that Landon Donovan converted to tie the game.
Less than a minute later, however, Los Angeles was called for a penalty and Will Johnson's conversion gave Salt Lake the lead again.
Before the final whistle blew, Los Angeles tied it again on Magee's first goal of the season.
Salt Lake fell to 3-3-1 for the season and Los Angeles played to its fifth tie (1-1-5) in seven contests this year.
