NBA: Cleveland 84, Atlanta 74
LeBron James scored 27 points Monday to lead the Cleveland Cavaliers to an 84-74 win over Atlanta and a sweep in their Eastern semifinals.
James had eight rebounds and eight assists. Delonte West scored nine of his 21 points in the fourth quarter for the Cavaliers, who are in the conference finals for the second time in three seasons.
They beat Detroit in six games in 2007 before being swept by San Antonio in the NBA Finals.
Cleveland will face the winner of the Boston-Orlando series which is even at 2-2 with Game 5 set for Tuesday in Boston.
The Cavaliers have swept two straight series and won every game by double-digits.
Josh Smith had 26 points and eight rebounds for the Hawks, who were in the second round of the playoffs for the first time since 1999 when they were swept by the Knicks.
