Wandy Rodriguez yielded three runs and five hits in seven innings Thursday, helping the Houston Astros record a 5-3 win over the Colorado Rockies.


In 113 pitches, Rodriguez (4-2) did not walk a batter and struck out a career-high 11.


Michael Bourn led the offense with four hits and one of the two runs he scored came when he stole home in the top of the first.


Carlos Lee also scored twice, once on an eighth-inning solo homer.


Hunter Pence had two hits and one RBI, and Pudge Rodriguez added two hits for the Astros, who have won five of six.


Todd Helton’s two of five hits and one RBI led Colorado.


Two others drove in one run for the Rockies, who have lost five of seven.


Losing pitcher Jason Hammel (0-2) gave up four runs — one earned — and seven hits in 5 1/3 innings with no walks and four strikeouts.
