Tournament playoff winners Zach Johnson and Shane Lowry each made strong moves Monday in the world men's golf rankings.
Johnson's birdie putt on the first playoff hole Sunday gave him a second consecutive Valero Texas Open championship. The win was his third tournament title in about six months and pushed him up seven places in the rankings to No. 19.
Lowry, an amateur, took the Irish Open on the third extra hole Sunday. He'd used a second-round 62 to move into the lead and battled Robert Rock through the final round and sudden-death playoff before getting the win. His play at the Irish Open allowed him to enter the world golf rankings at No. 168.
There was only one switch in the world Top 10 this week with Henrik Stenson moving to fourth and knocking Geoff Ogilvy to fifth.
Tiger Woods, for the 206th consecutive week, is No. 1 with Phil Mickelson in a solid second and Sergio Garcia third.
The second five is the same as last week with No. 6-ranked Kenny Perry followed by, in order, Paul Casey, Padraig Harrington, Vijay Singh and Camilo Villegas.
