Adrian Beltre and Ken Griffey Jr. drove in all of Seattle’s runs with home runs Sunday in a 5-4 Mariners win over the San Francisco Giants.
Beltre whacked a three-run homer and Griffey hit a two-run shot in the inter-league contest.
Felix Hernandez (5-3) worked eight innings and picked up the win, allowing four runs and seven hits and striking out 10 batters.
Fred Lewis homered and Eli Whiteside, Edgar Renteria and Aaron Rowland each contributed an RBI for San Francisco, which has lost nine of its last 11 games.
Loser Barry Zito (1-5) lasted 6 1/3 innings, giving up five runs and five hits.
