Mike Cameron’s three RBIs carried the Milwaukee Brewers past division-rival Cincinnati 5-2 Sunday.

Cameron’s big blow was a two-run homer in the fifth inning that staked the Brewers to a 5-1 lead and gave the win to Yovani Gallardo (5-2), who gave up two runs — one earned — on seven hits in 5 1/3 innings.

Michah Owings (3-6) took the loss after giving up all five runs and eight hits over 5 2/3 innings.

Cameron also drove in a run in Milwaukee’s two-run first with an RBI single that was followed up by a run-scoring base hit by Mat Gamel.

After Milwaukee added its third run on a sacrifice fly in the second by J.J. Hardy, the Reds got on the board in the third on an RBI single by Jay Bruce.

After Cameron’s fifth-inning home run, Brandon Phillips hit a solo home run for the Reds to close out the scoring.
