MLB: Philadelphia 5, San Diego 3

Ryan Howard and Chase Utley hit back-to-back fifth-inning home runs Monday to help the Philadelphia Phillies beat San Diego 5-3 for their fourth straight win.
The Phillies were leading 2-1 when Howard jacked his 15th homer and Utley made it 4-1 with his 12th.
Jimmy Rollins, Shane Victorino and Raul Ibanez had two hits apiece and Victorino had two RBI for Philadelphia.
Joe Blanton (4-3) went seven innings, giving up three runs on six hits with five strikeouts and a walk.
Brad Lidge pitched a scoreless ninth to post his 13th save.
The Padres got back-to-back homers from Adrian Gonzalez and Scott Hairston in the sixth. Gonzalez leads the majors with 21 home runs.
Kevin Correia (1-4) was tagged with the loss, giving up four runs on 10 hits with three walks and five strikeouts in 4 1/3 innings.
The loss snapped 10-game home winning streak for San Diego, which hadn't been beaten at home since May 6.
