Bengie Molina hit a two-run homer and the San Francisco Giants used a three-run seventh Saturday to beat Oakland 5-2 in an inter-league contest.
Giants’ starter Randy Johnson (6-5) went seven innings to get his 301st major league victory, giving up two runs on four hits with one walk and three strikeouts.
Brian Wilson pitched a scoreless ninth to get his 17th save.
Molina’s homer staked the Giants to a two-run lead in the first. Juan Uribe drove in the go-ahead run with an RBI single in the seventh for the Giants, who have won eight of their last 11 games.
Josh Outman (4-1) took the loss, going six-plus innings and allowing four runs on five hits for the A’s, who have lost four of their last five games.
Jack Hannahan had two hits and scored a run, and Kurt Suzuki homered for Oakland.
