Everth Cabrera's two hits and three RBI Saturday led the San Diego Padres to a 7-4 win over the Los Angeles Dodgers.
Cabrera's bases-loaded two-run single gave San Diego a 3-2 lead with one out in the bottom of the seventh. He added an RBI single in the eighth, San Diego's second three-run inning of the game.
David Eckstein hit two RBI singles. Adrian Gonzalez had two hits and one RBI and a run scored on Casey Blake's eighth-inning throwing error to help the Padres break a three-game losing streak.
The winner was reliever Greg Burke (1-0).
LA's Manny Ramirez, playing his second contest following a 50-game suspension for violating baseball's substance abuse policy, hit a first-inning solo homer. Juan Castro and James Loney had one RBI apiece, while Blake and Russell Martin had two hits each for the Dodgers, who were trying to win a third straight time.
The losing pitcher was reliever Ronald Belisario (1-3).
