Bengie Molina hit a home run in the 10th inning Saturday to hand the San Francisco Giants a 5-4 victory over the New York Mets.
Molina went 3-for-4 with two RBI and two runs scored, and Pablo Sandoval also was 3-for-4 with a solo homer and two runs scored for the Giants.
Giants starter Matt Cain allowed three runs on six hits in 7 1/3 innings. Brian Wilson (5-5) earned the win after giving up one hit and one walk in 2 2/3 innings.
Luis Castillo went 3-for-4 with two runs scored, and Gary Sheffield's RBI in the eighth tied the game for the Mets.
Johan Santana gave up four runs on nine hits in 6 2/3 innings.
Francisco Rodriguez (2-4) was charged with the loss.
