Jankovic tops Safina for Cincy trophy

Jelena Jankovic of Serbia cruised to a two-set win over Dinara Safina Sunday in the title match of the Western & Southern Financial Group Open in Ohio.
Jankovic posted a 6-4, 6-2 victory to earn her second title this season and the 11th of her WTA career.
The 24-year-old Jankovic is 3-3 against Safina, who holds the world No. 1 ranking in women’s tennis.
Jankovic won $350,000.
Safina, of Russia, was trying for her 13th WTA title.
