Panthers pick up DT Leonard

The Carolina Panthers bolstered their defensive line Tuesday, acquiring tackle Louis Leonard from Cleveland for an undisclosed draft pick.

The 6-foot-4, 325-pounder made 33 tackles in 20 games the past two seasons with the Browns.

Leonard was an undrafted player out of Fresno State. He was signed by San Diego in 2007, then went to St. Louis. He was waived by the Rams before signing with Cleveland.
