Veteran NFL cornerback Roderick Hood joined the Chicago Bears Tuesday.
The Bears, who didn't say how much they will pay Hood for the one-year contract, also waived wide receiver Derek Kinder.
Hood has 203 career tackles and 11 interceptions in six seasons with Philadelphia and Arizona after going undrafted out of Auburn.
Kinder had been a seventh-round draft pick by the Bears in this year's NFL draft.
