MLB: Minnesota 4, Cleveland 1
Scott Baker held the Indians to a run and three hits in six innings Saturday as Minnesota beat Cleveland 4-1.
Baker (13-7) gave up a lead-off homer to Andy Marte in the bottom of the third, but allowed just two other hits to raise his season record against Cleveland to 4-0.He walked four batters and fanned four to remain unbeaten in his last 11 starts, dating to July 12.
Nick Punto led Minnesota with two hits and one RBI.
Jose Morales and Brendan Harris had one RBI apiece.
One run scored on Jamey Carroll's fourth-inning error, while Joe Mauer and Jason Kubel had two hits each for the Twins, who snapped a two-game skid.
Michael Brantley, Jhonny Peralta and Wyatt Toregas each had one hit for the Indians, who have lost five of six.
The losing pitcher was starter Justin Masterson (4-7).
