Roy Helu rushed for 157 yards and three touchdowns Saturday to lead the 22nd-ranked Nebraska Cornhuskers’ 49-3 rout of Florida Atlantic.
Zac Lee threw for 214 yards with two touchdowns and an interception on 15-of-22 passing for Nebraska. Curenski Gilleylen caught four passes for 92 yards and a TD, and Menelik Holt also caught a TD pass for Nebraska.
Rusty Smith threw two interceptions while completing 16-of-31 throws for 167 yards for Florida Atlantic.
Alfred Morris led the Owls’ running attack with 99 yards on 18 carries. But Florida Atlantic was out-gained 259-122 on the ground.
