Casey Blake had three RBI Friday, two of them on a sixth-inning homer, and the Los Angeles Dodgers pounded out 13 hits to defeat San Francisco 10-3.
Russell Martin's two-run double finished off a five-run seventh that wrapped up the third win in four games for the Dodgers.
The Dodgers remained two games in front of Colorado in the National League West after the Rockies rallied in the ninth inning to defeat San Diego. San Francisco slipped 5 1/2 games behind Colorado in the wild-card race.
James Loney put Los Angeles in front for good with a two-run double in the first and Hiroki Kuroda took over from there while filling in for regular starter Randy Wolf.
Wolf missed the start with elbow irritation and Kuroda (6-6) made the most of his chance by limiting the Giants to two runs on three hits in eight innings.
Matt Cain (13-5) took the loss, allowing four runs on seven hits in six innings.
