Jacory Harris threw for 269 yards and three touchdowns Thursday, sending No. 22 Miami rolling past No. 13 Georgia Tech 33-17.

Miami picked up its second win in as many games, both of them Atlantic Coast Conference outings. The Yellow Jackets fell to 2-1 and to 1-1 in league play.

Harris, who had a 386-yard performance in a surprise season-opening triumph over Florida State, rallied Miami from an early 3-0 deficit to a 17-3 halftime lead.

He hit Laron Byrd with a 40-yard scoring pass in the first period and threw a 14-yard touchdown pass to Dedrick Epps in the second.

Harris gave Miami a 31-10 lead late in the third period with a 14-yard toss to Jimmy Graham. The Miami quarterback completed 20-of-25 passes and Graig Cooper added 102 rushing yards on 18 carries.

Georgia Tech, which rushed for 301 yards in a win over Clemson last week, managed only 129 yards on the ground against Miami.
