Chivas USA goalkeeper Zach Thornton had his second straight shutout and 10th this season Saturday in a 0-0 draw with the Seattle Sounders.
Kasey Keller had the shutout for Seattle.
Thornton didn’t make a single save in a win last week against New England.
Chivas (11-9-4) remained one point behind Seattle (9-6-11) in the West with two fewer matches played.
