Jon Garland limited San Francisco to an unearned run and seven hits in eight innings Saturday, leading the Los Angeles Dodgers' 12-1 rout of the Giants.
Garland (11-11) used 95 pitches to produce his third quality start since being acquired from the Arizona Diamondbacks this month.
Jeff Weaver hurled a scoreless ninth.
LA's homer-happy offense was started by Ronnie Belliard's two-out, first-inning grand slam. James Loney added three hits -- one a solo homer -- and two RBI. Matt Kemp and Blake DeWitt also hit solo homers for the National League West-leading Dodgers, who have won four of five.
San Francisco's run scored on Randy Winn's first-inning sacrifice fly.
Pablo Sandoval had two of the 10 hits for the Giants, who have lost two of three.
The losing pitcher was former Dodger Brad Penny (3-1).
