White Sox GM says team under-achieved

Chicago White Sox General Manager Ken Williams says the team has under-achieved in 2009 and he sees improvement in 2010.
Williams made his comments on the team's Web site after an 8-6 loss to the Twins Wednesday capped a three-game Minnesota sweep and guaranteed the White Sox will miss the post-season playoffs.
Fortunately, our future looks good on the mound and it looks good defensively,
he said about prospects for next season.
The White Sox were thought to be contenders for the AL Central Division title, but a leaky bullpen, inconsistent offense and poor base running have been obvious problems.
We've got to find the necessary offensive pieces and the right combination for things to click in a much better way,
Williams said.
He has said volatile Manager Ozzie Guillen will return.
Chicago has a 73-80 record with nine games left.
