COL FB: Texas-El Paso 58, Houston 41

Donald Buckram rushed for 262 yards with four touchdown runs Saturday, leading Texas-El Paso's 58-41 upset of 15th-ranked Houston.

Buckram carried 32 times and scored all his touchdowns in the second half.

Quarterback Trevor Vittatoe completed 19-of-30 passes for 276 yards, two touchdowns and no interceptions, while wide receiver Jeff Moturi scored once on six receptions for 127 yards for the Miners (2-3, 1-0 Conference USA), who forged a 17-17 halftime tie, but outscored the Cougars 20-3 in the third quarter.

Houston quarterback Case Keenum completed 51-of-76 passes for 536 yards, five touchdowns and no interceptions.

James Cleveland scored twice after 14 receptions for 147 yards, while the Cougars (3-1, 0-1) amassed 664 yards in total offense in their first loss this season.
