NEW YORK (Hollywood Reporter) - NBA All-Star Reggie Miller is expected to sign a deal to appear on-air on the "NBA on TNT" beginning this season, sources said Wednesday.
Miller, who holds NBA records for three-pointers made and attempted, spent 18 years with the Indiana Pacers. He retired this year after the Pacers were eliminated in the Eastern Conference semifinals against the Detroit Pistons. Although there's still a year left on his contract, Miller repeatedly has reaffirmed his retirement plan. The Pacers put Miller on waivers this week. It isn't clear what role -- either in the studio or as a game analyst -- that Miller would play.
That was expected to be announced when TNT makes it official Thursday.
