PARIS (Reuters) – American Levi Leipheimer won the fourth
stage of the Tour of Germany on Thursday.
The Gerolsteiner rider beat team mate Georg Totschnig of
Austria on the 2,670-meter Rettenbachferner mountain finish.
Germany’s Jan Ullrich (T-Mobile) was third.
Leipheimer’s victory makes him the new race leader of the
nine-day ProTour event and he will wear the yellow jersey in
Friday’s 219.2-kms stage from Solden to Friedrichshafen.
