Dodgers’ Bradley may need surgery on knee injury

RALEIGH, North Carolina (Reuters) - Los Angeles Dodgers
outfielder Milton Bradley has an 80 percent tear in the patella
tendon of his left knee that could require surgery, the team
said on Thursday.

Bradley also has damaged his anterior cruciate ligament and
will seek a second opinion this week.

He was injured on Monday when he hit the first base bag
while running out a ground ball.

Bradley left the game and has not played since then. He
tested the knee during batting practice on Tuesday, then told
manager Jim Tracy he could not play.
