Sore big toe sidelines Rockets’ Yao for several games

HOUSTON (Reuters) – Houston Rockets center Yao Ming will
miss several games because of a sore big toe, coach Jeff Van
Gundy said.

“We’ll know more after he sees the doctor,” Van Gundy told
reporters. “He’s had it for a long time. It has to do with his
toenail and having his toenail removed.”

Yao is averaging 19.9 points and 9.0 rebounds a game.
