Yao out for several weeks after toe surgery

HOUSTON (Reuters) - Houston Rockets all-star center Yao Ming will be out of action for several weeks after surgery on his infected big toe, the team said.
Yao, who gained the most votes for February's NBA All-Star Game, underwent surgery on Monday in Houston.
He is averaging 19.9 points and 9.0 rebounds a game.
