Flyers’ Forsberg out for at least a week

NEW YORK (Reuters) – The Philadelphia Flyers’ leading
scorer Peter Forsberg will be sidelined for seven to 10 days
with a groin injury, coach Ken Hitchcock said.
“He’s obviously not going to play Saturday or Monday and
then we’ll evaluate it from there,” Hitchcock told the club’s
Web site.
“Right now, this is a minor injury and we don’t want to
make anything more of it, but this is now the third occurrence
in that area and that’s the part that’s concerning everybody
right now.”
The 32-year-old Swedish Olympian has recorded 47 assists
and 62 points this season.
