Heat’s Posey suspended one game for flagrant foul

NEW YORK (Reuters) – Miami Heat forward James Posey has
been suspended one game without pay for knocking Chicago Bulls
guard Kirk Hinrich to the floor, the NBA announced Friday.
Posey was slapped with a Flagrant Foul Penalty Two for the
incident, which occurred with 3:15 remaining in the fourth
period of the Bulls’ 109-90 win over the visiting Heat on
Thursday.
Miami leads the best-of-seven Eastern Conference
quarter-final series 2-1.
The 6ft-8in, 220-pound Posey will miss Game Four of the
series, which will be played at the United Center in Chicago on
Sunday.
