Henin-Hardenne wins New Haven after Davenport injury

NEW YORK (Reuters) – Second seed Justine Henin-Hardenne won
the New Haven title on Saturday when defending champion Lindsay
Davenport retired with a shoulder injury.

Henin-Hardenne was leading 6-0 1-0 when Davenport decided
the injury was too bad to continue.
