MINNEAPOLIS, Nov. 8 /PRNewswire/ -- Multi-Tech Systems, Inc., a leading data communications and telecommunications technology company based in suburban Minneapolis, announces T.38 compatible fax operation of its MultiVOIP Voice over IP (VOIP) gateways within Avaya Communication Manager Networks. "Our line of MultiVOIP Voice over IP gateways now offer full T.38 interoperability for fax over IP on Avaya Communication Manager networks," states Chip Harleman, Vice President of Sales and Marketing for Multi-Tech Systems, Inc. "This interoperability allows companies to bridge their existing fax equipment and communications onto Avaya networks. To sell the concept of distributed IP networking to larger organizations, you will undoubtedly encounter smaller offices and branch locations in those organizations that need fax communications as part of the distributed IP solution. Our line of MultiVOIP gateways operating in T.38 mode provide a very necessary bridge of technologies."
