StarBak Communications, the leading provider of integrated network video technologies designed to simplify the creation, display, delivery and management of video-based applications over IP networks, today announced Patrick L. Clark has joined the company as Senior Vice President of Worldwide Sales. Clark is a sales veteran in the technology industry, with particular expertise in building strong enterprise sales teams backed by highly productive VAR and integrator channels.
Clark brings over 25 years experience in enterprise sales management to StarBak. Most recently, as Executive Vice President of Worldwide Sales at Visual Networks, Clark was instrumental in tripling shareholder value over the last two years. Prior to joining Visual, Clark was the Vice President of Worldwide Sales for Paragon Software, instrumental in that company's successful merger with Phone.com. Clark has held executive-level sales positions at Software.com, Computervision and Microcom, and was a co-founder and VP of Sales for Interlan. Clark's extensive sales career includes sales management roles at 5 early-stage companies which ultimately led to successful mergers, acquisitions, and IPOs, as well as the worldwide sales management of 2 successful turnarounds.
"What attracted me to StarBak was a combination of the strong leadership team and a product offering that truly changes the economics of enterprise video communications," said Clark. "Enterprise customers have struggled with the problem of how to simply and easily create, manage, deliver and display their video content. StarBak has put together a complete video communications platform, from one vendor, that minimizes the integration and complexity that goes along with a multi-vendor approach. StarBak delivers on the promise of IP video communications. I'm excited to be working with the StarBak team in building out our worldwide sales and distribution channels to better target Fortune 500 enterprises and other high-growth vertical markets."
"StarBak has been incredibly successful over the last five years in selling its video communications products to a wide variety of customers in many different vertical markets," said Gregory Casale, president and CEO of StarBak. "With the growth of our solution, we're now ready to expand our sales team and channel to reach more of the enterprise customers that will benefit most from an integrated network video approach. Pat has an incredible track record at a number of prominent companies, successfully leading global sales organizations through high growth periods. I'm impressed with Pat's experience, professionalism and vision, and thrilled to have him on our team."
