DISH Network Business Solutions and Helius Form Technology Partnership; Companies to Explore Internet Protocol Product Enhancements

Helius Inc., the worldwide leader in business-class data broadcasting solutions, and DISH Network Business Solutions (DNBS), a division of EchoStar Communications Corp. (NASDAQ:DISH), announced today that they have formed a technology partnership that will deliver integrated Internet Protocol technologies and custom product offerings to DNBS customers.

DNBS' suite of products and services are designed to help simplify business communications with customers, partners and employees. DNBS solutions include:

-- Business TV -- Satellite channels for full-time or occasional-use for businesses to distribute information, training materials, corporate communications, etc.

-- Retail Media -- Satellite delivery of in-store advertising/digital signage.

Helius Internet Protocol technology reduces the overall cost of using broadcast media for business solutions because it removes the dependency on non-IP devices such as television sets. This technology enables business customers to deploy applications such as digital signage and interactive distance learning, and to rely on DNBS' satellite platform to deliver information.
