Razz, Inc. a leading audio content service provider for mobile phones and social networks, today announced a strategic partnership with Tagged, a premier social networking site with over 50 million members. Razz will make its Razz Tones and Razz ShoutOuts available to Tagged's rapidly growing social portal for teens, which currently has over 1 billion page views per month, bringing Razz to the forefront of mobile entertainment with teens worldwide.
"We are very excited to begin this new venture with Razz," said Greg Tseng, CEO Tagged. "With the growing desire for self expression among the expanding youth market, our users will truly be able to personalize their ringtones and personal pages at Tagged, allowing our member base to grow and maximize visitor frequency and overall time spent on our site."
Razz Tones and Razz ShoutOuts are personalized, user-generated voice ringtones and recordings that can be played on a profile page at Tagged.com. These customized services appeal to the massive youth market and will allow Tagged members to empower their self-expression and communications with friends, and extend the experience from social networking sites to mobile phones. Teens will be able to create custom ringtones by combining their voice with sound clips and background music. In addition, they will also be able to share these tones with their friends via SMS, email or audio widgets on Tagged, and choose from dozens of creative skins for the published widgets. Tagged members can also stay connected by creating unique, personalized ringtones to identify each friend when calling their mobile phones.
"Tagged is growing like wildfire. We are excited to bring our unique Razz audio content services to the expanding Tagged user base," said Jeff Malkin, CEO of Razz. "Young consumers today have a strong desire to create original content to express their individuality. Combining the Razz Tone and Razz ShoutOut products with Tagged's robust social platform will create a compelling and entertaining experience for Tagged users to continue personalizing their social communications."
Razz presents opportunities for partners like Tagged to benefit from services sold to their members through revenue share of Razz products. Razz Tones will be available to Tagged users for $2.99 each.
