GlowPoint Adds Experienced Business Development Leader to Sales Team; Greg Gotcher Brings Experience From IBM, HP and Sun Microsystems to New Senior Sales Position

Glowpoint, Inc., (NASDAQ: GLOW) the world's leading broadcast-quality IP-based video communications service provider, today announced the addition of Greg Gotcher as Vice President, Business Development to its sales team.

Gotcher brings over 20 years of business development and sales expertise from leading technology companies including Hewlett-Packard (NYSE/NASDAQ: HP), Sun Microsystems (NASDAQ: SUNW), IBM (NYSE: IBM) and Computer Associates (NYSE: CA). Over the course of his career, Gotcher has successfully developed and closed a long list of business agreements and sales initiatives, working directly with top executives, investors and board members from an array of Forbes 100 companies.

Gotcher joins GlowPoint directly from Dorado Software, where he held the position of VP Sales, Business Development and Alliances. In this role he built and managed relationships with a worldwide group of leading network equipment manufacturers including Cisco, Juniper, Lucent, Siemens, Ericsson and their largest service providers including AT&T, SBC, Time Warner Telecom and others.

As Director of Partner Programs for IBM/Tivoli Corporation, Gotcher managed the team responsible for integrating Tivoli and IBM Business Alliance Programs. Initially, Gotcher held key management roles at Hewlett-Packard and Sun Microsystems during their pioneering growth stages.
